The Serengeti Armchair was designed exclusively for JANUS et Cie by internationally renowned designer, Philippe Starck. A study in sophistication and substance, the armchair is crafted of solid, premium teak, and features clean lines and visible joinery that evoke Craftsman and Scandinavian modern influences. Sturdy, weather-tested, canvas sling mesh compose the seat and back in elegant hues of Gazelle, a rich taupe, Horizon, a fiery, sunset red, and Tusk, a versatile, variegated beige. Inspired by the majesty of the African savanna, the Serengeti collection was envisioned as a timeless respite to be enjoyed today and for generations yet to come.
