The Serengeti Ottoman was designed exclusively for JANUS et Cie by internationally renowned designer, Philippe Starck. Sophisticated in form and crafted of incomparably enduring, solid, premium teak, the ottoman is low-slung with generous proportions to pair beautifully with the Serengeti sofas and lounge chair, or serve as casual seating on its own. The ottoman’s frame supports a network of sturdy, resilient, elastic straps topped with a deep, comfortable, welted cushion. Tapered legs and visible peg joinery evoke influences from Craftsman and Scandinavian modern design. Inspired by the majesty of the African savanna, the Serengeti collection was envisioned as a timeless respite to be enjoyed today and for generations yet to come.
