The MB1 is a single seat lounge chair designed by Compasso d’Oro award winner Mario Bellini. Defined by a low, grounded profile and a continuous architectural form, the MB1 expresses formal clarity through a compact, sculptural silhouette that feels intentional and restrained.

Made in the USA using recycled content and Heller’s Worry Free Plastics Technology, the MB1 is fully recyclable, regenerative, and microplastic free at end of life. Thoughtfully proportioned, it creates a natural place to pause within both intimate and shared spaces, integrating easily into residential, hospitality, and office environments indoors and outdoors, from terraces and pool decks to galleries and courts.

The MB1 incorporates an integrated drainage system, with subtly pitched channels that guide water away and keep the surface clear and ready for use in outdoor settings.

The MB1 was awarded in 2004 both the IF Design and the Red Dot prizes.
