General Purpose of the Job:

The Vice President of Sales, Asia Pacific leads all sales and company-owned showroom efforts in the Asia Pacific region. This position reports to the President. Reporting to the Vice President are Key Account Managers (6), Sales Specialists (2), and Showroom Managers (2).

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Develop and execute the strategic plan for the region
• Spearhead business development efforts throughout the region, with an emphasis on cultivating new and existing clients
• Define, communicate, and direct the strategic growth priorities by sector
• Further develop and build the team to achieve the region’s goals and objectives
• Build strong, effective relationships with all functional areas of the company
• Establish and maintain relationships with industry influencers and key strategic partners
• Foster an environment of continuous improvement, continuous learning, and collaboration
• Enhance the metrics and reporting tools required to drive improvement and growth
• Review and analyze sales performance against plan to determine effectiveness
• Provide leadership and day-to-day management for the region
• Resolve all operational issues that may arise through the course of the specification, order, and delivery processes
• Prepare regional sales reports for the executive team
• Develop and manage the annual operating budget for the region

Required Skills:

• A hands-on, results-oriented leader able to successfully develop the region to its fullest potential
• Proven ability to develop, implement, and lead successful strategies and tactics to grow sales and improve margins
• A thorough understanding of the industry including distribution and purchasing channels, key specifiers, corporate end-users, and competitors in the region
• Demonstrated experience building dealer networks across the Asia Pacific region
• A strong track record of talent recognition and development – finding and building successful multi-sector sales organizations and future leaders
• Analytical and detail oriented with excellent planning, prioritization, and organizational skills
• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, work well in a team environment, able to work in diverse environments, and adhere to highest ethical standards
• Proven ability to build strong, effective relationships
• Able to organize and manage multiple priorities simultaneously
• Able to work effectively in a collaborative, fast-paced environment
• Able to travel extensively in support of the business
• Excellent computer skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
• Languages in addition to fluent English is a plus


• Bachelor’s degree required, advanced degree preferred
