The sales team, partnered with its backup sales support, is peerless and top-of-class in the industry.

The Key Account Manager will actively be involved in developing new ownership group relationships and business while maintaining/growing existing accounts. This includes servicing existing clients, developing new sales leads, managing closing of contracts, creating standards programs, ensuring sales force is compliant with all standards and working closely with brand KAM’s to confirm that the JANUS et Cie message is consistent. Also, must be an effective communicator with sales and management. Finally, travel throughout the country is a must.

We are seeking a highly successful, sales-oriented person with a thorough understanding of the high-end hospitality/contract furniture industry and its purchasing process (residential sales experience a plus). The person would ideally have worked in a similar position in the region, and would thereby have obtained full knowledge of the key decision makers and influencers, as well as a strong, high-level network (architects/interior designers/hospitality operators and owners) in the high-end furniture industry.

The candidate will need to be a motivated self-starter with a hunter mentality, while maintaining a polished image that is in line with the company’s mission and values.

Requirements:

• For consideration, you must have 3 years of proven success in a similar position, ideally with high-end hospitality sales. Furniture Industry knowledge is a plus.
• Great business acumen and ability to develop relationships at all organizational levels.
• Experience and a sensibility to work effectively within a multicultural environment.
• Excellent writing and presentation skills.
• High-level proficiency with computers and new technology.
• Medium to extensive travel activity required.
• B.A. degree or higher preferred.
