Key Account Manager – Europe

JANUS et Cie®, the reputable, design-focused leader in the furniture industry is continuing its growth and global expansion. The company is now seeking to strengthen its position in Europe through this new post, based in Europe, preferably in Spain, France, Italy or Germany area.

For more than 35 years JANUS et Cie has offered sophisticated, high-end indoor and outdoor furnishings and is growing in all major locations throughout the U.S. catering to all market sectors. The company has built a solid reputation by presenting world-class products, marketing programs and Brand recognition with exemplary service. The sales team partnered with its back up sales supportis peerless and top of class in the industry.

The Key Account Manager will actively be involved in developing the markets across the region, this includes:

• Servicing existing clients
• Developing new sales leads
• Managing closing of contracts, standards programs
• Managing hospitality, contract, residential and design sales accounts throughout the region.

We are seeking a highly successful, sales-oriented person with a thorough understanding of the high-end hospitality/contract furniture industry and its purchasing process (residential sales experience a plus). The person would ideally have worked in a similar position in the region and thereby obtained full knowledge of the key decision makers, influencers, as well as a strong, high-level network (architects/interior designers/hospitality operators and owners) in the high-end furniture industry.

• Great business acumen and ability to develop relationships at all organizational levels.

• Excellent writing and presentation skills.
• High-level profi ciency with computers and new technology.
• Medium to extensive travel activity required.
• B.A. degree or higher preferred.
• Excellent English. Additional language skills, relevant to the region are a plus.
